  Brazil wants to sell beef to Bangladesh at Tk 465 per kg. Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira is coming to Bangladesh on April 7-8. During the visit, he will discuss various business issues, including beef imports from Brazil. According to sources, Brazilian Ambassador Paulo Fernando Dias Ferres held a meeting with Foreign Secretary Masood Bin Momen ahead of the visit of the Brazilian Foreign Minister. At this time, he discussed the issue of beef export. Brazil exports beef to 126 countries in 2023. The country has been showing interest in exporting beef to Bangladesh for the past few years. In this case, Brazil wants to pay four and a half US dollars per kilogram of beef to Bangladesh, i.e. 495 taka. Historic March 7 celebrations at The historic March 7 was celebrated by laying wreaths on the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and distributing awards along with discussion meeting on behalf of upazila administration and Awami League in Natore's Lalpur. 

On Thursday morning, upazila administration, upazila Awami League, heroic freedom fighters, various institutions including upazila health complex paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman located in the upazila parishad square by placing wreaths. 

After paying tribute, a discussion meeting was held with the distribution of prizes organized by the upazila administration. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sharmin Akhtar, the local parliament member Bir Muktijoddha Advocate Abul Kalam Azad spoke as the chief guest. 

Upazila Awami League President Aftab Hossain Jhulfu, Upazila Chairman Isaac Ali, Gopalpur Municipal Mayor Rokhsana Mortuza Lilly, OC Lalpur Thana Nasim Ahmed, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Labani Sultan and others spoke among others.
